OH-WAY Junior High State is a separate tournament from OH-WAY D1-4 State. D5 (ages 13-14) will NOT wrestle at OH-WAY D1-4 State. D4 (ages 11-12) can choose to compete in Junior High Regionals/State, D1-4 Regionals/State or both; however, D4 (ages 11-12) who wish to compete in both must pay a separate entry fee with a separate weigh-in to wrestle at both the OH-WAY D1-4 Regionals/State and Junior High Regionals/State, as these are 2 separate events.

The Central Ohio S Gaugers model train club welcomes the public to the 2017 Spring S Spree Model Train Convention. This annual event rotates between the Miami Valley S Gaugers (Dayton/Springfield) and the Cuyahoga Valley S Gaugers Association (Cleveland) and we, COSG, host this year’s event in Marion, Ohio. Enjoy the multiple operating layouts from fellow clubs and individuals. The Model Train show also features many vendors selling trains, accessories and other merchandise specifically for S Gauge model railroading. As part of the Family Fun Day public access to the show, additional family activities will be featured for more fun including a railroad themed Photo Booth with backdrops of Thomas the Tank Engine and a Western Steam Engine, plus Cow Town Twister, an entertainer who makes wacky objects with balloons. Families can also enter a free drawing to win a complete train set and the first 50 kids through the door get a free train whistle.

On October 7th be sure to attend the “Homecoming Party” for classes 19?? – 2014! This year’s Event will be held at the Marion Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 220 E Fairground Street. This year we have secured the Number 1 Band in Ohio. “The Menus” from Cincinnati, Ohio will be performing Saturday Night. People who travel to Columbus or Put In Bay will recognize this band. We are thrilled they will join us this upcoming weekend. They definitely know how to put on a show and I know the place will be electric that night.

This is our second year bringing you this event. The weekend is the collaboration of many of your Alumni and many Pleasant Supporters coming in for the event. Whether a Spartan in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, or 2000’s….you will love this weekend! It’s the chance to “remember when”.

Enjoy food, music, camaraderie, and more. Be part of this awesome second event which will be held annually during Pleasant Homecoming Weekend!!

PS – We will be doing the tailgate on Friday prior to the Pleasant – Buckeye Valley game. This will start at 5:00 pm and go to 7:00 pm. Pleasant will be hosting Buckeye Valley on October 6th for their Homecoming Game. All of the Alumni are invited to stop in at the pre-game tailgate party from 5PM – 7PM. Game begins at 7PM. See Old Friends, Tour School, Enjoy a Pig Roast.

Exhibitors can set-up on the day of the show starting at 7 am.

All shows benefit the Marion Victim Assistance Program with a $1.00 admission donation. VAP is a service of the Marion Area Counseling Center, Inc., and each year serves over 1000 victims and families in the Marion County area. No change will be available, so please bring what you will need to do business. Parking is free.

Marion Union Station Association 32nd Annual Toy & Train Shows

 
Our 32nd Annual Train Show will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Marion County Fairgrounds (220 East Fairground St.). The show features approximately 120 sales tables and several operating layouts. Show hours are 11am-4pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $12 for families. Children 8 and under are free with adult admission.

Food will be available from the on-site concession.
8′ sales tables are $20. Vendor set-up starts at 7am Saturday morning. There is no Friday night set-up!
