TRUCK PULL ENTRY RULES

  • Make all inquiries to officials, ruling will be FINAL.
  • Arrival to sled late is grounds for disqualification.
  • To pull, all drivers must sign a release of responsibility.
  • NO RIDERS
  • Everyone pays at event.
  • NO refunds – NO rain date
  • All drivers must be 16 years old or older.
  • Under 18 must have parents permission.
  • Sled hook must fit hitch on track or will be disqualified.

Some of the rules below have changed from last year and are in bold to identify them

6500 4 Wheel Drive Street Gas

  • 1. Any truck is eligible that is licensed, street driven and insured. Must have licenses plate, registration and proof of insurance that match the truck. Driver must be 16 years of age or older. No hood modification.
  • 2. No turbos, superchargers, or fuel injection unless factory equipped. Aluminum intakes and inframe headers are allowed. No aluminum heads allowed unless the vehicle is factory equipped. No Fenderwell Headers allowed. No open headers. Exhaust must exit behind the cab. NO PREDITOR or DOMINATOR CARBS. MUST BE 4150 FLANGE OR LESS. Must have factory type belt driven water pump and alternator. No electric water pumps.
  • 3. No pressurized fuels (NOS), bar tires, chains or studs. Tires must be D.O.T. approved.
  • 4. Maximum hitch height is 20”.
  • 5. All hitches must be rigid with no side-to-side movement. Hook point must extend past end of frame rail and be a minimum of 42 inches from the center of the rear axle tube. A 3 ¾” clevis must be furnished or hitch that will accept the hook. Must pull from bumper or reese style hitch. No tee style or prostock hitches allowed. No modified frame rails. Refer to the 2015 HARDIN COUNTY PULLERS HITCH RULE FOR THIS CLASS.
  • 6. Traction bars and spring clamps are allowed. No rear blocks.
  • 7. Any weights that are added must be added in the bed of the truck. No hanging front weight.
  • 8. Flat beds and snow plow frames are allowed.

6500 4 Wheel Drive Street Altered Gas

  • 1. No turbos, superchargers, or fuel injection unless factory equipped. Aluminum intakes, heads and headers are allowed. Open headers are allowed. NO BRODIX SR20 CYLINDER HEADS.
  • 2. No pressurized fuels (NOS), bar tires, chains or studs/ Tires must be D.O.T. approved. MAX TIRE SIZE 36X14.50.
  • 3. Maximum hitch height is 24”.
  • 4. All hitches must be rigid with no side-to-side movement. Hook point must be a minimum of 38 inches from the centerline of the rear axle. A 3 ¾” clevis must be furnished or hitch that will accept the hook. Tee hitches or prostock style hitches allowed.
  • 5. Traction bars, spring clamps, and rear end blocks are allowed.
  • 6. Hanging weight out of the front of the truck is permitted. Hanging weight is to not extend anymore than 60 inches from the center of the axle.
  • 7. Flat beds and snow plow frames are allowed.
  • 8. Blow proof bell housings transmission blankets, drive shaft loops, kill switch, helmets, and fire jacket required.

8000 4 Wheel Drive Street Diesel

  • 1. Any truck is eligible that is licensed, street driven and insured. Must have license plate, registration and proof of insurance that match the truck. Driver must be 16 years of age or older. No hood modification.
  • 2. No pressurized fuels (NOS), bar tires, chains or studs. Tires must be D.O.T. approved.
  • 3. Maximum hitch height is 22”.
  • 4. All hitches must be rigid with no side-to-side movement. Hook point must extend past end of frame rails. A 3 ¾” clevis must be furnished or hitch that will accept the hook. No tee style or prostock hitches allowed.
  • 5. Traction bars and spring clamps are allowed. No rear end blocks.
  • 6. Any weight that is added must be added to the bed of the truck. No hanging front weight.
  • 7. Factory type turbo.
  • 8. Flat beds and snow plow frames are allowed.

8000 4 Wheel Drive Street Altered Diesel

  • 1. No pressurized fuels (NOS), bar tires, chains or studs. Tires must be D.O.T. approved.
  • 2. Maximum hitch height is 26”.
  • 3. All hitches must be rigid with no side-to-side movement. Hook point must extend past end of frame rails. A 3 ¾” clevis must be furnished or hitch that will accept the hook. No tee style or prostock hitches allowed.
  • 4. Traction bars, spring clamps, and rear blocks are allowed.
  • 5. Hanging weight out of the front of the truck is permitted. Hanging weight is not to extend anymore than 60 inches from the center of the front axle.
  • 6. Flat beds and snow plow frames are allowed.
  • 7. Blow proof bell housings, transmission blankets, drive shaft loops, kill switches, helmets, and fire suits required.

8500 Lb. Open To the World

  • 1. This class is open to 2wd trucks, 4wd trucks, tractors, or any other vehicle that can get at or below 8500 pounds.
  • 2. The rules for each vehicle in this class are to be followed as the same rules of the class that the vehicle would normally pull in. Vehicle must pull the same hitch height as the class that it would normally pull.
